2017: Phelan played his 150th game in round 10 earning life membership of the club. Phelan suffered a knee injury in this game however, and did not play again until the 2017 WAFL Grand Final. Before his injury Phelan was having an outstanding year, highlighted by a month stretch where he collected over 30 possessions in four games.
2016: Phelan backed up his Outridge Medal winning effort with an even stronger one.
